I am a mosaic /mixed media artist
I like to incorporate words and photographs into my work, aswell as found objects-shells, bones, fossils, slate and stones.
I am inspired by nature and local folklore and enjoy creating stories in my mosaics
I love the process of enamelling. Using heat & fire with metals & ground glass. It is an ancient form of craft.
Many cultures incorporate enamel into their art. Its nice to feel a little connected to that when I make.
Mixed media artist exploring movement in still life, through painting and collage. Inspired by nostalgia, colour, vintage, and collecting.
Mainly sculpts scrap copper, but also whatever discarded materials are sourced....mosaic, papier-mâché, wood. Enjoying the cathartic process of creating beauty from waste, often with a view to express emotion; hoping to enrich the audiences aesthetic experience.
Large Sculpture using mixed medium of Copper & Beautifully carved Wood!
Beaten Copper Flowers. Using the elements & effect of extreme high temperatures to produce a wonderful natural Patina on the surface of the copper.
I am a mixed media Artist for whom drawing forms the basis of my work.
I mainly draw in pen so the journey of the drawing is documented in the final piece, depending on the drawing I then add inks or pastels to bring in highlights or explore negative space.
I always draw from observation and have a particular interest in portraiture, life drawing and nature. I use my drawings as a basis for collages and embroideries whereby I continue to build layers with appliqué and stitch.
I paint murals and build and paint scale models. My creative work provides an outlet for me to combine techniques I use, and explore new ways to present my ideas.
Nature and geometry are my main inspiration to create and theme heavily in my pieces.
I am curious about human consciousness and painting is another tool I use to explore and dialogue with the unknown within and around me. During the painting process, I strive to work beyond the conscious mind of thinking, planning and judging. I do this by fully allowing my intuition to follow the senses and feeling into the movement of the energy.
I often immerse myself in the chaos of ‘I don’t know what I am doing’ until the painting speaks to me in return, where my deepest being is felt and connected. Sometime it is challenging, sometime it flows spontaneously. And my joy is the surprise to see what unfold in front of me.
Mixed media textile artist, fabric hoarder and maker of many messes.
My work is an exploration of the patchwork chaos that I delight in. Through a somewhat jumbled and hap-hazard process my work starts in one place and stitch by stitch, layer by layer reveals itself somewhere surprisingly different.
My inspiration is the outdoors and nature, but the process is a means to calm and confront the dialogue in my mind. I never correct mistakes and prefer to enjoy the road trip rather than a well-planned route.
"Imagine if you fell asleep in a bath of psychedelic liquid and had a dream inside your dream of unconnected relatable objects of fascination and wonder that have been kissed by the multi layered-
tapestry of the cosmos and set on fire in one last beautiful sacrifice to the acid gods of the microscopic sacred geometry that lives in every living cell on earth... that's what I attempt to convey in my work with varying degrees of accomplishment"
Sotoyoto is a sound artist and composer interested in the meditative properties of sound, His sonic atmospheres and ambient pieces are for artistic events and live collaborations and are composed to encourage new ways of listening and creative involvement.
"I enjoy carving recognizable subjects that relate to my interest in history, folklore and symbolism.
Items i have carved faithfully included green men, grotesques and the three hares.
The inspiration for my own work comes from nature, the geometry that creates natural forms and its relationship with space.
I prefer ideas for my work to be carved direct into stone allowing the form, interconnected shapes, curves and overall composition to develop naturally. This encourages me to engage directly with the material, giving permission for the idea to evolve and find its own individual flow, spirit and energy."
I’m a mixed media artist with a portfolio career spanning lots of different media’s such as drawing, photography, video and sculpture.
For me art is a release, a way to express emotions and a way to investigate them in their rawest state.
When I’m not doing portraiture my work is intuitive and not planned.
I let my pieces form themselves with subconscious conversations in the form of doodles, whatever the medium.
More recently I have been exploring my love of light and shadow with shadow puppetry stills and films.

I am a self-taught Sculpture Artist, working mainly in wood but I'm always happy to mix it up with other media and see what happens!
I often work in the 'Op Art' style of Abstract, using patterns, flowing lines, contrasting colours and shadows to present the viewer with an engaging, illusionary experience and plenty of textures to touch.
My inspiration comes in many forms, but they all stem back to my love of Nature, the ancient and the sacred. Spirals and circles make me strangely happy!
