MAMS EXHIBITION 15TH TO 28TH APRIL 25

The Eastcott Community Art Group was formed in September 2021.  

During and after the Covid crisis, the group endeavoured to keep in contact and once it was deemed appropriate everyone came back together to enjoy the social side of Art.

At present we have 27 members who enjoy a wide variety of Art from Pencils, Pastels, Watercolour and Acrylic.

There are a lot of Art projects which members enjoy from Card making in pencil or watercolour to large canvases in acrylic.  Members are also encouraged to bring their sewing or felting along.  It’s the members space to enjoy.

Pencil drawings of flowers, plants and birds to large industrial buildings are under-taken which can take over several weeks to complete for members to enjoy on their walls at home or to sell at local exhibitions.

Members are encouraged to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with biscuits for the very social chats during the morning sessions.

The group has had several artistic demonstrations during the morning sessions, and we go out for trips to local areas to visit museums and art galleries.

The Art group started small in 2021 but has grown over the following years into a lively and enjoyable mix of talented amateur artists.  We ask members for a modest membership fee to cover the Hall cost and expenses. We always welcome new members to come along for a tester session.
